The City of Owosso is in the process of replacing water meters and implementing a new meter reading system.  If your consumption for this current billing quarter was the same or close to your previous quarterly consumption, you my see an increase in your bill based on a rate increase and/or installation of a new more accurate water meter.

However, nearly 15% of customers may see unusually high or low water bills this quarter.  These are in audit at this time to be corrected.  System transition errors have occurred from moving from one meter reading system to another.  Please be patient as we work through these system issues.  If you have not yet been contacted regarding an unusually high or low water bill, you may contact water billing at 989-725-0520 or 989-725-0550 for information.
