The City of Owosso received a State of Michigan grant to develop an Asset Management Plan for its Sanitary Sewer Collections System and Wastewater Treatment Facility.  This involves a comprehensive evaluation and condition assessment of all physical plant treatment processes, and inspections of the collection system infrastructure piping and structures.  Beginning March 21, 2016 RedZone Robotics will begin televising the entire Sanitary Sewer Collection System, utilizing two pick-up trucks (white with RedZone Robotics identifying emblems) that will deploy two cameras per vehicle from a single street manhole.

RedZone's current work schedule will generally be daylight hours seven days a week working two weeks on, and then a week off until all the 8", 10" and 12" sanitary sewer lines in the City are televised.  Later in the year a separate crew with different inspection equipment will be in to inspect larger diameter sewer lines.  This project may continue into September of 2016.

Please be mindful of the work vehicles when driving on the city streets.  RedZone employees will also carry a letter signed by the Director of Utilities, which authorizes their presence in the community.
