On July 6, 2021, work began on the retaining wall along the James S Miner Riverwalk, adjacent to City Hall. The existing stone wall was demolished and the area excavation was completed within a few days. During excavation, City Engineering evaluated existing conditions and recommend sheet piling along the excavation that is adjacent to Main Street (M-21). The Contractor will continue work beginning the week of July 26, 2021. Sheet piling will be driven during that week and then the Contractor will continue with the wall construction.
