NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
APPLICATION FOR OBSOLETE PROPERTY REHABILITATION EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
FOR OWOSSO REI GROUP, LLC|
300 WEST MAIN STREET

The City Council of the City of Owosso will conduct a virtual public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020, to hear public comment on the application of Owosso REI Group, LLC for the granting of an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Exemption Certificate for the property at 300 West Main Street for a specified period to be determined by resolution of the City Council.  

Following public comment, the City Council will consider an authorizing resolution for the tax exemption.  As a part of their deliberations, the City Council will evaluate if the tax exemption is necessary to reduce unemployment, promote economic growth and increase capital investment.
