The Stewart Street road project, from Chestnut Street to Chipman Street, began August 14, 2017. Consumers Energy is done with its gas main replacement work and are restoring damaged sidewalk. Malley Construction, Inc. is the City’s contractor. The contractor is replacing water main and is about half-way through with that work. Storm sewer improvements will begin soon. Road work will begin at a later date. All road work should be completed on or before October 29, 2017.
