As a part of its June 20, 2023 meeting the Owosso City Council approved Ordinance No. 840 authorizing the issuance of up to $19 million in revenue bonds to finance the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements Project - Phase 1, which includes the rehabilitation of the internal tertiary process at the WWTP. Said bonds will be repaid solely using revenue collected from Waste Water Treatment System fees.
