PLEASE NOTE: This moratorium was rescinded by City Council, effective February 24, 2020. Recreational marihuana establishments will be governed by Ordinance No. 803 from that day forward.
At its December 17, 2018 meeting the Owosso City Council instituted a moratorium on the establishment of recreational marijuana facilities within the City until such time as the State of Michigan releases its rules governing said facilities and the City has had the opportunity to develop its own rules.
