Safeway Transport will be cleaning & televising sanitary sewers in the city beginning Monday, Aug 14th through Thursday, Aug 31st. The contractor, Safeway, will advise when in residential areas by placing notifications at those addresses. These services are required to ensure the sewer system is cleaned and cleared of any obstructions. Please see the attached list of streets that are affected.
As a precaution, ensure the toilet lids are closed and place some weight (such as several heavy books) on the toilet lid, in case there is a pressure spike from the high velocity jetter. In the event you have any blow back into your home, contact 989-725-0562 to report. A clean-up kit will be provided.
