UPDATE: Looks like the end of next week (first week of May) they will start M-52 and the beginning of the second week of May for I-69 to start.  Crack seal treatments in Shiawassee county begins April 17, 2017 and is estimated to be completed in June, 2017.  The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $306,000 in crack seal treatments along 80 miles of state trunkline through the Thumb, as well as Shiawassee and Lapeer counties. Traffic will be maintained primarily with flag control.  Nighttime lane closures are expected during crack seal treatments on I-69.  The work is weather dependent.  M-52 from South Morrice Road to M-21 (Main Street) in Owosso and I-69 from the Shiawassee River to M-13 will be affected.
